Kevin J. Dickerson

Kevin is obsessed with music. The first CDs he ever listened to were Metallica’s Black Album and U2′s Achtung Baby when he was nine. Before that, he listened to a bunch of his parents’ old records and eight-tracks, which were mostly either The Beach Boys, The Eagles, weird Christmas seven-inches, or old country or bluegrass tunes by people like Marty Stuart, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and whoever. He spent his tweens listening to Demoscene s3m’s and xm’s and Astralwerks and Warp records. He got a used Stratocaster and shredded poorly until it led to carpal tunnel, and listened to whatever he could since he didn’t have TV and couldn’t afford to buy music but had a dialup connection. He recorded Austin City Limits on VHS because it was music on TV and played it until the tracking got weird and the sound was way bad. He is now a software guy for hire and lives in Pennsylvania.
